About Us

Since 1987, Tack Room Too has been serving the needs of horse enthusiasts young and old, throughout Western Washington. Conveniently located just off of Interstate 5 (Exit 102) in Olympia, we offer a full range of Western and English products, for the horse, rider, and barn. Our owners and staff are veteran equine enthusiasts with broad and deep knowledge of all facets of horse tack and apparel. We also offer custom saddles and leather work in our on-site saddle shop under the guidance and management of our Journeyman Saddle Maker Dave Lofstrom. Collectively, our ownership and staff represent an accumulation of more than 100 years  of expertise in horse tack and apparel.

 

FROM THE OWNERS

We're Tim and Tracie O'Brien, the current owners of Tack Room Too here in Olympia. We bought the business from Dan and Carol Rees, as they retired as of May 2018, and as our friends, we’re thrilled that they have entrusted us to take the business into its next chapter. 

We’re a local horse farm family raising our daughters with the responsibility, care, and respect of horses.
Tracie and I also own and operate, Keev Farm  in the Boston Harbor area of Olympia. We’re currently raising our three beautiful daughters. We believe strongly that our children should be responsible, hard-working, well-rounded kids. They play an integral role in the operation of our horse farm where we offer lessons, clinics, and camps throughout the year. You’ll also see them around the store too!

Tack Room Too will continue its legacy of supporting the local horse community for youth and adults alike.
Dan and Carol have supported the horse shows, events, fairs, and rodeos for decades. We are continuing that support as we strongly believe in giving back to our local community. Shopping local combined with supporting local businesses and events, builds an economic fabric in our community that strengthens all of us for the long term. Tack Room Too has some exciting new features coming soon, including expanding this website for full ecommerce capabilities. We're adding more and more items to the site every week. We now offer the ability to order online and either pick-up in the store or shipped/delivered to your home. We’re even working with some of the local shows and fairs to offer delivery to your assigned stall for those last minute needs! We’ve expanded our annual Fall blanket sale, and our annual Customer Appreciation sale in March is going to be bigger and better, than ever before. We’ll keep you posted on all of our exciting new events.
